I'm starting a new portfolio to aid my chances in landing a story board or concept artist position. After 2+ years in the videogame industry, it's time to move on to better things. The film industry and marketing in sports are two main focuses now. My time in Seattle could be limited as I aim to go back to Cali in the near future.

I've now been living in the Seattle area for a month and think my new job is pretty cool too (working in the videogame industry). I finally got my supplies out to do art and photoshop up and running on my laptop. If anybody lives in the Seattle area and knows of cool places to hang out, eat or take photography even I'm open to suggestions.

For the first time in a few months it seems, I started to draw. I needed some inspiration to get in a groove again. After browsing some art, I wound up using fellow Deviant J. Estacado's work as a source. I credit his stuff, among other artists to help me get excited about drawing again. Hopefully this will get my creative juices flowing again, and come up with some original characters.

Thanks, most of my drawings on here are from sources, but I think I wind up drawing them better than the originals on occasion.
I haven't seen most of the sources you draw from, but I think that you may be right. You have a lot of talent in doing that (I have trouble unless it is in black and white or greyscale- colour throws me off)
Ok....I can't wait to go on vacation though.
